Community Service at Erie Rotary

At Erie Rotary, we believe in showing up where we’re needed. From long-standing traditions to emerging needs, our members roll up their sleeves to support a wide range of local events and services.

Here are some of the ongoing and past projects. 

Community Support & Outreach

• Medical Loan Closet – Helping residents access essential medical equipment.
• Erie Food Bank – Thanksgiving Turkeys – Providing holiday meals for families in need.
• Police Officer Food Cards – Cards officers can hand out when they encounter someone in need.
• Graduation Shuttle – Safe transportation for graduates and their families.

Senior & Adult Engagement

• Active Adults Dinner – Hosting a community meal for local seniors and their families.

Multicultural Engagement

• Sanchez Elementary Cultural Events – Supporting Back to School Night and Taste of Sanchez, celebrating the school’s rich cultural diversity.

Local Events & Volunteer Presence

• Pilgrimage 5K Run – Beer Tent – Partnering with The Recess Factory to serve up fun.
• Erie Air Fair – Beer Tent – In collaboration with The Recess Factory and Erie Economic Development Council.
• Parade of Lights – Partnering with the Erie Chamber to support crowd logistics.
• Bolder Boulder – Volunteering at Colorado’s iconic race.
• Meals on Heels – Supporting Coal Creek Meals on Wheels’ annual fundraiser.

Civic Engagement

• Community Forums & Candidate Nights – Promoting informed voting and public dialogue.

Town & Chamber Collaboration

• Parks & Recreation Projects – Hands-on service to improve Erie’s public spaces.
